Committed to supplying sustainable local produce

Greenheart Growers has been trading for 5 years, supplying fresh produce to Cafes, Restaurants as well as Veg Boxes to local people via their original site in Parkhead, Glasgow. The opportunity arose to secure a larger site in the idyllic spot of Craigencalt Farm, by Kinghorn Loch and this is our current location.

Andy McGovern (M.A Community Learning and Development Glasgow University 2019) has led the Project in this time, using his experience of 10 years working in the Community Sector to ensure positive partnerships for Greenheart Growers and positive outcomes for the local community.

Greenheart Growers provides benefits to the local community and ensures a positive contribution to a viable local food economy where local people gain more and more access to locally produced organically grown produce, via both Greenheart growers and their own gardens.
